Giclee Prints Giclee prints by Charlotte Laxen are a wonderful way to collect artwork. They are printed in very small editions (usually 50 or less) and are intended to share my watercolor paintings with a wider audience of discerning collectors who like the idea they won't see their watercolor print on everyone else's walls! The giclee print process uses archival inks and acid free paper that allow a very close match to the original painting. The quality is exceptional, keeping all the rich color, thus giving you a beautiful print to treasure. Original Paintings Watercolor paintings are a joy, being of the moment and rich in feeling. Sometimes the colors of my original paintings are vibrant and bold and other times muted and somber. What I am feeling comes out in my painting and leaves an indelible imprint on my paper. As an artist, I must paint...it is glorifying God from whom all good things come! When you own one of my original paintings you also have my personal discoveries and the special time that I spent painting it, in effect, a piece of my life. Enjoy! All of these watercolor paintings are original works of art created on watercolor paper with watercolor paints. If the image is also found in the print gallery, it means that this is the ORIGINAL PAINTING that the print was taken from. You will truly own the "original"!
