Join me for a 3-day watercolor intensive workshop “ At the Farm” near Hutchinson MN. No time limit for working each day. The workshop will take place at the Farmhouse meeting room.
This is a first time intensive workshop for people serious about growing in their watercolor skills, with a mentoring atmosphere. Students will have the opportunity for serious one on one time with the instructor to provide for maximum learning. Class size is kept small for this reason! I recommend staying on site to provide for minimum distractions, otherwise there are motels in Hutchinson or Willmar. Sleeping accommodations are available for a minimum cost on site. Full kitchen so you can bring your own food. Clean, fun atmosphere, but not super fancy!

This is a one day class building on watercolor skills for those who have worked in watercolor before . Many simple ways of using this beautiful medium will be demonstrated along with practice time that will give students tools they can use immediately to create lovely little paintings. Class size limited to 8. Cost: $90 (Instruction) . Students can bring the materials they have and will go home with enough confidence to keep on creating!
If you are a beginner, have had a class or two and are looking at building on the basics of watercolor, this is the class for you! For beginners only and not for advanced students!

This is a new venue for me and is located in a lovely rural setting west of Hutchinson Mn. about 30 minutes. Options to stay at the farm for minimal cost or if you want to travel back into Hutchinson or Willmar there are motel facilities there. Bring your own food and we will eat together in this relaxed and creative environment! Almost a retreat type setting! Time to have uninterrupted focus on our work and have a very small class size for maximum attention! This will be a special opportunity!
Join me April 29, 30- May 1st from 9AM - 4PM each day, Springtime at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum . We will be focusing our painting on Spring flowers and the landscape. Three days allow for plenty of time to develop your work.

This is my second class that will focus entirely on painting on Yes Canvas, the wonderful canvas that works beautifully for watercolor. I have been using this for over three years now and am excited to share the knowledge I have acquired working on this delightful surface. It is different than watercolor canvas and allows for rich, vibrant color and controlled spontaneity.
Cost: $190 plus $35 materials. The cost covers instruction and the canvases, you bring your own paints etc.
Time: 9AM-4PM each day.
